List of required documents:
1. Transcript of the previous academic level
2. Degree of the preceding academic level
3. Passport
4. Birth certificate or Identity card
5. Personal image
6. If the applicant has previously studied in Iran, the high school diploma and its transcript are mandatory
7. SOP and CV for Master’s and PhD programs
Additional notes:
1. The academic documents must be in English or Persian.
2. The approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran must be applied in the destination country.
3. The applicant’s personal details form must be filled out in one of the following three languages (English, Farsi, Arabic):
• English
• Persian
• Arabic
Students images standards
1. Passport first page/graduation certificate image standards:
• Formats being jpg or jpeg.
• Being colored (Not black and white).
• Only the first page of the passport being included.
• Possessing a storage capacity under 100 KB.
• More or equals: height 600 dpi, width 800 dpi (in pixels).
• Clear writings (Text should not be distorted).
• Having High quality.
• Being horizontal so that it is parallel to the edges of the screen.
• Balanced lighting (Not being too dark or too bright).





2. Personal photo standards:
• Formats being jpg.
• Being colored (Not black and white).
• Possessing a storage capacity under 100 KB.
• More or equals: height 600 dpi, width 400 dpi (in pixels).
• Having a bright and clear background.
• Being vertical so that its height is greater than the width.
• Face looking straight at the camera.
• Being recent (taken in the last 6 months)
• No glasses should be worn, except in cases of specific medical conditions. If you use glasses for medical reasons, consider the following:
- Glasses should not cover the eyes.
- Glasses should not blur the eyes.
- Shadows or reflections from the camera flash on the lenses that obscure the eyes are not permitted.
• Professional photo, not scanned from passport, driver’s license, etc.
